Description

3, Soutergate is an early to mid-18th century building of two storeys constructed in red brick with a pantile roof and brick coped gable ends. It features a dentil brick eaves cornice and a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. The front facade has three flush sash windows with glazing bars, each with painted brick voussoirs. The entrance is defined by a six-panelled door surmounted by an oblong fanlight with glazing bars, set within a shouldered architrave surround incorporating a frieze and cornice. The building forms a group with Nos 1 and 5 Soutergate.
