Description
The building is a police station dated 1847, featuring one and two storeys constructed of brick with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The right-hand wing is two storeys high and has two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars, situated above a rectangular bay that includes wood pilasters, a modillion cornice, and a pentice roof. There is also a single window in this wing. The centre block is one storey tall and has two windows in stone surrounds, also hung sashes with glazing bars, and a central door with a round head and keystone. Above the door, there is a stone surround with a label reading 'Police Station'. The building's date is inscribed on the keystone. The door consists of four panels and is topped with a fanlight. The left-hand section is one storey and features two hung sash windows with glazing bars facing the road, along with a side doorway that has a stone surround and keystone, similar to the other wing. The police station is part of a group with Nos 2 and 4.
