Description

Nos 48 to 54 on Fleetgate are early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall, constructed from brick and topped with a pantile roof. The top floor features five windows, one of which is blocked, all with rusticated lintels and keystones. The first floor has four similar windows, two of which lack glazing bars. The ground floor is home to two 19th century shop fronts, one featuring grooved pilasters and glazing bars, while the other has plain pilasters. There are also two later shop fronts. These buildings, along with Nos 46 to 64 and the White Swan Hotel, form a cohesive group.
