Description

The lamp standard located in the pavement outside number 6 on Priory Road is a late Georgian or early Victorian cast iron structure. It features a fluted column divided into two stages, with moulded bases and a foliated capital. The lamp holder is a later addition, designed in a box and gooseneck style. The maker of the lamp standard is unknown.
