Description

Flemingate House is a mid-19th century Gothic-style pair of buildings located on the south side of Flemingate in Beverley. The two-storey buildings are constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof. They feature two windows each, with arched reveals, three-light mullioned windows, and cusped heads. A central gable projects forward, decorated with carved bargeboards, a finial, and a two-light window. Below this gable is a segmental-headed carriage entry. The doorways have carved doors with cusped panels and arched fanlights. A two-storey office extension adjoins the right side, featuring nine segmental-headed, pivoting windows with glazing bars. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
