Description
Shop Farmhouse is a house and butcher's shop, likely built in the late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It features pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond on the front and English garden wall bond on the sides, topped with a pantile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high with three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-fielded-panel door with a bricked-up overlight beneath a cambered head. The left bay contains a shop front with a part-glazed door situated between bow windows that have friezes and hoods. The right bay features a 16-pane sash window under a cambered head. On the first floor, there are 12-pane, unequally hung sashes. The building has stepped eaves, a swept roof, and end stacks. There is also a pitching door under an elliptical arch on the left gable.
