Description

MARKET LAVINGTON HIGH STREET SU 0054-0154 (south side) 12/152 Nos 22-26 GV II House and shop. Early C19. Flemish brickwork with slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays, double range, with central entrance and butcher's shop on right, long rear wing on left. Original 6- panelled door over 3 steps, with fanlights set in painted reveals. Flat canopy on cast iron brackets. Shop window has recessed door on right, side panelled pilasters, and similar flat canopy on four cast iron brackets. Plat band. Sixteen-paned sashes but 12-paned over door. Elevation and roof cranked to follow line of road. Roof hipped on return to rear wing.
