Description
White Knights is a house located on the south side of High Street in Market Lavington, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys tall with a cellar and has three bays. The entrance is slightly off centre, featuring a six-panelled door with an inset fanlight, topped by a 19th to 20th century open pediment supported by curved iron brackets. The ground floor has plate glass sash windows, with the left window being tripartite and having rendered lintels. A plat band runs along the façade. The upper floor contains twelve-paned sash windows, each with rendered outstepping voussoir lintels. There are gable stacks present. To the right, there is a one-bay rear wing built in greensand, and to the left, a two-storey wing. The house is included primarily for its group value.
