Description

WEST ELLA WEST ELLA ROAD TA 02 NW (south side, off) 9/53 No 217 GV II

House. Mid C19. Gothick style. Red brick with white brick dressings, fish-scale slate roof. 2 storeys, with main range and cross wing. Flush quoins. Main range has external stack to left and plain boarded door to right both enclosed in a rustic timber verandah. Cross wing: small canted bay window with latticed glazing to ground floor. 2-light casement with similar latticed glazing and quoined jambs under hoodmould to first floor. Ornamental barge boards to oversailing eaves, end stack. Left return has advanced 3-light window with latticed glazing below slate roof to ground floor and 2-light window with quoined jambs and similar glazing above.
