Description
This is a house located at 237 West Ella Road, built in the early to mid-19th century in the Gothick style. It is constructed of brick that is pebbledashed and colour-washed, topped with a pantiled roof. The house is a single storey with attics and features a two-window front. On the left side, there is a two-storey porch with a pointed entrance and a boarded door, above which is a two-light casement window with latticed glazing. To the right, there is a similar three-light casement window and a roof dormer that also has a two-light casement window. The eaves overhang, and there is an end stack on the right. A 20th-century garage to the right is not of special interest. The left side of the house has two-light casement windows with latticed glazing, which are below returned hoodmoulds. This building is included for its group value.
