Description
This is a house located at 272 West Ella Road, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick, pebbledashed and colour-washed, with a pantiled roof. The building is a single storey with attics and features a two-window front. To the right, there is a two-storey gabled porch, and to the left, an additional single-storey lean-to with one bay.
The porch has a four-centred opening with a hoodmould and a boarded door inside. To the left and far left of the porch, there is a two-light sliding sash window with latticed glazing. On the first floor, above the door, there is a blank oblong panel, and two two-light sliding sash windows, one of which is located under a gablet and both have latticed glazing. The house has oversailing eaves and an end stack on the left side.
