Description
This is an early to mid-19th century house built in the Gothick style. The exterior is brick, with areas pebbledashed and colour-washed, and a pantiled roof. The house has two storeys and a two-window front, featuring a central gabled porch. Buttresses with offsets mark the corners of the building. The front door, boarded and set under a segmental arch, is flanked to the right and left by sliding sash windows with glazing bars; the left window is under a hoodmould with shield stops. A small window was inserted in the 20th century to the left of the porch. The first floor has a similar sliding sash window with glazing bars to the right and a 20th-century replacement window to the left. A raised coped gable and end stack are visible to the right. An outhouse to the right is not of particular interest. The building is included on the list for group value.
