Description
This is a house located at 231 West Ella Road, built in the early to mid 19th century in the Gothick style. The structure is made of brick, pebbledashed and colour-washed, with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and features a two-window front with a central two-storey porch. There are buttresses with offsets at each corner of the building. The entrance consists of a boarded and glazed door set under a shallow arch, with a two-light casement window to the left and a small canted bay window to the right. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window above the canted bay and another two-light casement window beneath a hoodmould that has masks over the door. All windows are fitted with latticed glazing. The porch has a raised coped gable on kneelers, and there is a raised gable to the left. An end stack is located to the right.
