Description
This is a house located at 252 West Ella Road, built in the mid-19th century in the Gothick style. It features a combination of red and yellow brick with a tiled roof and has a gable elevation facing the street. The house is two storeys high and one bay deep. On the ground floor, there is a canted bay window with mullions and transoms, which has mid-20th century glazing. The first floor has a two-light mullioned casement window beneath a hoodmould, along with a blank cross window in the gable. The principal roof is adorned with fretted barge boards and a finial. To the right side of the house, there is a projecting porch that includes a boarded door under a gable, also featuring fretted barge boards. Additionally, there is an axial stack with a small strainer arch.
