Description

This milestone, located on the north side of Holme Road in Market Weighton, dates from the early 19th century. It features a round-headed whitewashed slab with an attached cast iron oval panel. The panel displays the distances to Selby, which is 16 miles away, and Weighton, which is 2 miles away.
