Description
Station House is a private residence that was originally Everingham railway station, built around 1848 by G T Andrews with a later addition. The building is constructed of yellow brick in English bond and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has four bays, with the outer bays gabled and projecting forward to create wings. To the right, there is a four-panel door alongside a small boarded opening, which was likely the original ticket booth. To the left, there is a sash window with glazing bars in a flat-roofed extension. The remaining windows are also sashes with glazing bars, set beneath cambered gauged brick arches. The building has overhanging eaves and corniced ridge stacks.
