Description
Old School Chapel is a former national school, now functioning as a chapel, built in 1824 as indicated by the datestone. The building is constructed from brick in English bond and features a pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall, with a single storey, three-bay section at the rear. The gable end facing the street has plate-glass sash windows beneath segmental arches on both floors, and the raised gable end shows tumbling-in. On the facade facing Old Road, the left section includes two casement windows and an original 16-pane sash window, while the first floor has two additional casement windows. The right section features three 16-pane sash windows and displays the datestone that reads "Holme National School 1824."
