Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, located on Price Street at the corner with Argyle Street, adjacent to Hamilton Square, is a Grade II listed structure. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, it is made of cast-iron and glass.

This kiosk features a standardized design painted red, consisting of a square shape topped with a shallow domed roof. The door and sides are adorned with eight horizontal strips of glass, each with narrow margin lights. Above these, the top panels display rectangular white signs that read "TELEPHONE," complete with applied relief crowns above them. The kiosk is fully intact, although it has been fitted with modernized internal equipment.
