Description
This is a terrace of five houses located at 89 to 97 Bebington Road, built in 1899 by J.J. Talbot. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings, plaster, and feature a tile gambrel roof. They are one storey high with an attic and consist of five bays, with the end bays projecting under gables. There is a stone base up to sill level, a brick cornice, and plaster on the attic storey, complemented by brick quoins.
The ground floor showcases five-light bowed oriel windows with cornices and leaded glazing. The end windows consist of four elliptical-headed windows with brick mullions. On the first floor, there are hipped dormers featuring four elliptical-headed lights, and the end bays have similar jettied windows with plaster end panels beneath hipped gables. All gables are topped with lead finials. The entrances are adorned with decorated lintels, and the doors have three panels with leaded lights. The houses have four cross-axial stacks, while the returns feature lateral stacks and entrances beneath flat canopies. The rear of the terrace has a plaster first floor with half-hipped end bays and privies.
