Description
The Careers Office, built around 1905 by Grayson and Ould, is a shop that has been converted into an office. It features a roughcast exterior on a brick base and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of two bays. The ground floor showcases a timber Tuscan pilastrade with fluted flat pilasters, two bowed small-paned shop windows, and a central entrance with a pediment. The door is half-glazed with a small-paned light. On the first floor, the windows are adorned with dripmoulds and architraves, featuring three-light leaded casements. There is also a similar two-light attic window beneath a large gable. The right side of the building has an elaborate wrought iron bracket at the rear angle and a stack at the back. The left side connects the Careers Office to Nos. 13 to 31.
