Description
Numbers 2, 3, and 4 Chase Heys is a row of three houses, originally four, located on Bibby Road in Churchtown, Southport. These homes were likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century and have undergone significant alterations. The exterior features white painted render on brick and a slate roof with four slightly different levels, complemented by white-painted brick chimneys.
The buildings are one storey high, with the former No. 1 on the left and No. 4 on the right being lower than the others. The row has a seven-window range. The former No. 1, which is set back and smaller, has had its doorway removed and now features a three-light sliding sash window. No. 2 includes a 20th-century glazed porch on the left and two similar windows. No. 3 has a glazed door, a two-light casement window, and a three-light bow window, which replaced the original three-light sliding sashes. No. 4 features a glazed door beneath a gabled hood, flanked by similar bow windows. There are four small one-flue chimneys. The interior has not been inspected. This row of houses forms a group with Nos. 5, 6, and 7 Chase Heys.
