Description
No. 12 Benson Street is a house, now used as an office, dated 1818 on the rainwater head. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and stands three storeys high with an attic basement, featuring two bays. The building has a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and sashes, with the first-floor window above the door having glazing bars. The second floor contains one window only, which is a casement. The entrance, located to the right of the ground floor window, features a round-headed doorcase with wide consoles and a six-panelled door. The rainwater head displays the initials W L K along with the date. This building is listed for its group value only.
