Description
No. 54 Mount Pleasant is a house, now used as an office, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. It features a sill course and a top frieze, along with a cornice and blocking course at the top. The ground floor includes a canted bay with three windows to the right of the entrance, which has a rectangular fanlight and architrave. All windows are sashed without glazing bars, and the first-floor windows have wedge lintels. The property is complemented by panelled gate piers with moulded caps and late 19th-century area railings.
