Description
No. 50 Mount Pleasant is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a stone basement and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring five bays. The windows have wedge lintels and sashes with glazing bars. The second floor includes mid-19th century windows with three lights, divided by mullions, and sashes without glazing bars. The central entrance is highlighted by a bowed doorcase with an open pediment supported by consoles, and it features a semi-circular fanlight without glazing bars above a six-panelled door. The house has 20th-century chimney stacks.
