Description

This building on Renshaw Street, which includes numbers 4 and 6 Benson Street, is a group of shops dating from the 1820s. It is constructed of stucco and extends to three storeys and an attic, with 10 bays. The building has a prominent cornice above the ground floor, a sill course to the first floor, and a top cornice. The attic is finished with a cornice and blocking course. A curved corner forms the junction with Benson Street. The ground floor features small shop fronts, while the upper floors contain sash windows set within architraves. Every other pair of bays is emphasized by pediments above the first-floor windows, and cornices above the second-floor windows. Number 63 has a canopied, full-width entrance.
