This is a terrace of eight houses, with a ninth dwelling on the return elevation to Sandon Street, built around 1830 and featuring late 20th-century alterations. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. They rise three storeys above a basement, with each house having three bays. Architectural features include a basement lintel band, a first-floor sill band, and a top frieze and cornice. The windows are glazing bar sash types with wedge lintels, although some second-floor openings are now blind. The entrances are adorned with pilasters and entablatures, and most have two-panel doors. There are plain iron railings to the areas and steps. Notable details include a blocking course on houses 79 to 83, an iron first-floor balcony on house 79, casement windows on house 81, and some rendering on house 89. Houses 91 and 93 feature small-paned casements. The Sandon Street elevation has similar detailing, with blind openings on the left-hand bay and the first floor of the right-hand bay. The doorway to No. 22 Sandon Street is located in the centre bay and is detailed similarly to the Canning Street elevation.
