Description
Nos. 9, 11, 11A, and 15 on Sandon Street are four houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. The buildings are three storeys tall with a basement and feature a symmetrical design, with a doorway in the inner bay of each house and two bays for each house. There is a basement lintel band, sill bands on the first and second floors, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The entrances are adorned with angle pilasters and entablatures. Decorative iron railings with heads are present in the areas and steps, and Nos. 9, 11, and 11A have simple iron balconies on the first floor.
