Description

No. 167 on Chatham Street is a house built in the 1820s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, featuring three bays. There is a first-floor sill band, a top cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and small-paned casements. The central entrance is round-headed and includes a Doric doorcase, a six-panel door, and a plastered arch. The property is complemented by plain iron railings around the area and steps.
