Description

No. 6 Percy Street is a house built around 1830, constructed of stone with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall with a basement and features four bays. The ground floor showcases channelled rustication, with a flat band above that has an egg and dart ornament along the lower edge. The two central bays on the first floor are adorned with pilastrade, featuring paired pilasters between the bays. A top cornice with a blocking course caps the structure, while the two central bays display eight raised panels flanked by scrolls. The first-floor windows in the outer bays are framed with architraves, friezes, and cornices, and all windows are sashed with glazing bars. The entrance, located in the third bay, has a battered, eared architrave, a complete overlight, and a four-panel door. The area and steps are enclosed by iron railings topped with spearheads.
