Description
No 33 Canning Street is a house built in the 1830s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring three bays. There is a basement lintel band, sill bands on the first and second floors, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars above the ground floor. The entrance is framed by an Ionic aedicule, which lacks a pediment. The area is enclosed by iron railings, and the steps have decorative heads. Additionally, there is an iron balcony on the first floor.
