Description

Nos. 35 and 37 Canning Street are two houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and three bays. There is a basement lintel band, first-floor sill bands, a top cornice, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed, with glazing bars above the ground floor. The entrances are paired and flanked by Ionic columns with an entablature above. Decorative iron railings with heads surround the areas and steps.
