Description
29 and 31 Canning Street are two houses built in the 1830s. They are made of brick with stone details and have a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with three bays. There is a band of lintels at the basement level, a sill band at the first floor, and a frieze, cornice, and blocking course at the top. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars above the ground floor. The entrances feature Ionic aedicules without pediments and half-glazed doors. There are iron railings with decorative heads around the areas and steps. No 29 has a blind window on the second floor and an iron balcony on the first floor, along with a complete overlight above the door.
