2 houses. 1830s. Stucco with slate roof. 3 storeys with basement, 3 bays to each house. Basement lintel band; 1st floor sill band, top of wall between 2nd floor windows treated as flat pilasters supporting top entablature and blocking course. Windows to ground and 1st floors have architraves, those to ground floor with panelled aprons; central 1st floor windows have frieze and consoled pediments. All windows are sashed, no glazing bars. Entrances have Ionic porches and half glazed doors. Iron railings to areas and steps have decorative heads. Iron balcony to 1st floor; 1st 2 panels are C20 replacements. 7-bay return to No. 28 has 4 balconies to 1st floor windows.
