Description

No. 1 North Road is a lodge built in the 1840s. It features a roughcast exterior and a slate roof. The building is one storey high and has two bays. Architectural details include a frieze, cornice, and a parapet, with a gable over the entrance and end angle pilasters. The windows are segmental-headed and sash, with most retaining their glazing bars. The central entrance is also segmental-headed and projects slightly, featuring a two-panel door. There are stacks at each end of the building.
