Description

Arcadia is a house built around 1860, located on the south side of North Road in Grassendale Park. The building is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. Notable architectural details include a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. The ground floor has both canted and rectangular bays, which contain casement windows with segmental-headed upper lights. Above the rectangular bay, there is an iron balcony. The first-floor windows are sashed with architraves and do not have glazing bars. The central entrance features a glazed doorcase and an eight-panel door, along with an iron porch that has a balcony above.
