Description

Southwood is a pair of houses built in the 1840s. They are constructed of stucco and have a slate roof. Each house is two storeys high with a basement and consists of two bays. The design features a top cornice and quoin strips. On the ground floor, there are tripartite sash windows with angle pilasters and entablatures. The first floor has a central blind window. The windows are sashed, and the entrances in the return wings also have angle pilasters and entablatures, along with four-panel doors and round-headed blind windows with keyed architraves above the entrances.
