Description

No. 41 is a lodge built in the mid-19th century, featuring coursed flint with brick dressings and an old plain tile roof. The building has two bays and is one and a half stories high, with a central outshot at the front and small stores at either end. The front entrance includes a planked door beneath an open gabled timber porch. The central outshot contains an early 19th-century cast-iron Gothic casement window. Above, there is a gabled dormer made of knapped flint, which has a leaded light and decorative bargeboards. The roof also features a rebuilt large stack with three shafts located in the center.
