Description

The retaining wall to the covered reservoir at the waterworks was built in 1854 and designed by T. Duncan. It is constructed from snecked stone and extends approximately 95 meters along Hodson Place, featuring a round turret at the east end and an octagonal turret at the west end. The wall then continues south for 53.5 meters. It has a battered base with roll moulding above and a coped parapet.
