Description
Toxteth Reservoir features a retaining wall and corner tower built in 1855, likely designed by T. Duncan. The structure is made of snecked stone and has a battered wall with a top roll moulding, measuring approximately 53.5 meters by 67 meters. The main facade includes an entrance with a studded door located at the right-hand end, above which is a plaque featuring the Liver bird. The round tower above the entrance has broaches, slits, and a corbelled top.
