Description

The wall and gate piers to West Derby Library were built in 1904 and designed by T. Shelmerdine. The structure is made of brick and features a swept coping between the wall piers, which have battered panels and hemi-spherical caps. There are plain iron railings positioned between the piers. The gate piers are similar to the wall piers but are larger in size. The wall runs along Green Lane and Lister Drive.
