Description

The Vicarage of St John Baptist is a house built around 1870, designed by G.F. Bodley. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick bands and red sandstone dressing, topped with a tiled roof. The building has three storeys and four bays, with the first bay recessed and consisting of two storeys, featuring a projecting ground floor window. The second bay projects under a gable. The windows are mullioned and transformed, fitted with leaded glazing. The third bay includes an elliptical-headed entrance with a label mould and three panels above. The structure has cross axial stacks.
