Description
This is a lodge built between 1871 and 1874 by A. Waterhouse, located to the north of Newsham Park Hospital. It is constructed from common brick, featuring red brick and stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys tall with a projecting bay beneath a gable. There are cogged bands above the ground floor and at the eaves. The projecting bay has three-light mullioned windows, and the entrance is situated to the right. A roundel is present in the gable, and there is a ridge stack. The lodge is included for its group value.
