Description
The building located to the south of Newsham Park Hospital was constructed between 1871 and 1874 by A. Waterhouse. It is made of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The structure stands three storeys high with an attic and features four bays, with the second bay projecting under a gable. It has cross windows, some of which include flush relieving arches. The third and fourth bays contain dormers, while the first bay has a small roof dormer. The entrance is located in the third bay, and cross-axial stacks are positioned on either side of the projecting bay.
