Description

A row of five houses, numbered 7 to 15, located on the north side of Orford Street, dating from around 1850. The houses are built of brick with stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. They are two storeys high with a basement, and each house has two bays. A sill band and a top frieze and cornice run along the first floor. The windows have wedge lintels. A round window is located above the entrance to number 7, featuring casements. Number 9 has sash windows with glazing bars, as does number 11. Numbers 13 and 15 have casement windows, with a casement window situated above the entrance at number 15. The houses are set back behind iron area railings featuring decorative heads, with the exception of number 13.
