Description

A row of four houses, built around 1850. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house is one bay wide, arranged over two storeys. A horizontal band marks the sill level of the first-floor windows, and there is a decorative cornice and capping at the top. The windows are topped with wedge-shaped lintels. The doorways are round-headed and feature Doric doorcases; the entrances to the central houses are paired, with a blind window above. Number 8 has casement windows and a six-panel door. Number 10 has sash windows without glazing bars and a two-panel door. Numbers 12 and 14 have sash windows with glazing bars and two-panel doors.
