Description
No. 34 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high and features three bays. There is a frieze and cornice above the ground floor, and the first floor has a pilastrade with a blocking course, with the central bay projecting forward under a pediment. The ground floor windows have apron recesses, and all windows have 20th-century casements. The central entrance features 20th-century doors, and there is a window above that is covered with a sign from 1984. The left side of the building has blind windows and a round-headed entrance with a boarded fan, also from 1984. The building is included for its group value.
