Description

No. 28 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick with stone dressings and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. It features a rusticated stone base, with round-headed recesses on the ground floor that have archivolts and an impost band. The top of the building is finished with a cornice and a blocking course. The windows, which have wedge lintels, are sashed and include glazing bars. The central entrance is adorned with a Tuscan porch and a six-panel door, while the window above the entrance is blind. Additionally, there are plain iron area railings.
