Description

27 and 29 Orford Street are two houses built around 1850. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house is two storeys tall and has one bay. Features include a sill band on the first floor, a top frieze, and a cornice. The windows have wedge lintels, and the ground floor has canted bay windows. The paired entrances are flanked by angle pilasters and topped with an entablature, with a blind window above. Number 27 has casement windows, while number 29 has sash windows without glazing bars and a two-paned door. There are iron area railings with decorative heads.
