Description

This milepost, located at the corner of Tetlow Street, was erected in 1865 by the Liverpool Health Committee. It is made of cast iron and features a base with plaques, although two side plaques are missing. The cap of the milepost has one remaining plaque that indicates the exact distance from Liverpool Town Hall and the height above Old Dock Sill.
