Includes No 30 Marmaduke St. Terrace of 5 houses.Nos 1 and 5 now shops. No 7 now public house. 1820s. Brick with stone dressings, slate roofs. 3 storeys. 1st floor sill band, top cornice. Windows have wedge lintels and mostly casements. No.1 is of one bay with chamfered corner and 3-bay return. Ground floor has stucco rustication capped round 1st bay of return. 1 elliptical-headed window and one round-headed window and entrance to return. Angle has entrance with cornice on triglyphs. Return has 3-bay pediment cut through by loading bay with cat-head. No 3 is of 2 bays and has round-headed entrance with Doric doorcase with fluted columns; one 2nd floor blind window. No.5 has C19 shop front with Corinthian pilasters, and modillioned cornice over fascia; blind windows to 2nd bay. No 7 is of 3 bays, with chamfered angle and 2-bay return. Early C20 tiled pub front; central bay has blind windows. No 30 Marmaduke St is of 3 storeys with basement and 4 bays, end bay is recessed. Round-headed entrance has Doric doorcase with fluted columns.
